The resinous liquid which comes out of the tappings to heal the cuts on the bark, thickens on contact with the air, forming a hard and glassy gum.<\/p>\n<p>Gum arabic is edible and has\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/E_number\">E number<\/a>\u00a0E414.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"product-block-title\">SOURCE OF ARABIC GUM<\/h2>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-28\" src=\"https:\/\/krzysztof.opalstacked.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/slide-gum-arabic2-300x179.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"385\" height=\"230\" srcset=\"https:\/\/etusa.pl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/slide-gum-arabic2-300x179.jpg 300w, https:\/\/etusa.pl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/slide-gum-arabic2-768x459.jpg 768w, https:\/\/etusa.pl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/slide-gum-arabic2.jpg 874w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 385px) 100vw, 385px\" \/>Gum Arabic is harvested in the gum belt of Africa, this belt starts from Senegal at the west of Africa and ends at Sudan in the east, also known as African sahel.<\/p>\n<p>From the 1950s to the early 1990s, Sudan accounted for roughly 80% of gum Arabic production, today, that figure is probably under 50%.<\/p>\n<p>Sudan is still the world&#8217;s largest single producer of Arabic Gum.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"product-block-title\">GENERAL\u00a0USES<\/h2>\n<div class=\"product-uses-top-contents wow fadeInUp\" data-wow-delay=\"0.3s\">\n<p>Gum arabic is used primarily in the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Food_industry\">food industry<\/a>\u00a0as a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Stabilizer_(chemistry)\">stabilizer<\/a>. It\u2019s used in everything from beverage emulsions and confections to functional dietary fiber.
